Global Outreach Founder and President, Harle Eliason, went to be with the Lord on March 12, 2020. Harle, together with her husband, Allan, (Renee’s parents) had hearts for missions that went back to their time as church planters in New Zealand in the early 1960s. As God continued to nudge them to do something to help make a difference in a hurting world, they launched Global Outreach in 1986. Many of you have been faithful partners since those early days. In the beginning much of the work involved ministry trips to Mexico. Harle always had a heart to help orphans, children, and widows. Helping and improving the lives of vulnerable women trapped in poverty and oppressive situations was an area of deep concern for Harle. With that in mind, and as a tribute to Harle, we are establishing Harle’s Heart, a fund which will concentrate on providing assistance to women and girls. Harle’s Heart will focus on providing training, funds for small businesses, medical care, hygiene and health products, and other urgent needs for women in many of the nations where Global Outreach serves.
