There is something special and precious about celebrating Christmas with a child. I am sure you would agree, celebrating the birth of our glorious Savior takes on added wonder and joy when children are involved. Parents everywhere love to give gifts and treats to their children at Christmas. Sadly, most of the children supported and loved through your generous gifts to Global Outreach do not have parents that can give them a special treat at Christmas. Thank God for ministries like Samaritan’s Purse that provides shoeboxes filled with gifts for thousands of children around the globe. Unfortunately, the children we support will not be receiving any gifts without your help. We are inviting you to join with us to make this Christmas just a little more special for the children we serve. In Congo, the orphans look forward to a special meal along with a Christmas worship service. The 1,200 or so children from the community who attend the feeding program at Congo for Christ will be looking forward to receiving one piece of candy and a small bar of soap. These are the types of gifts we have been able to provide for them the past two years. In addition, we provide a side of beef that allows each of them to have a small taste of meat along with their usual beans and rice. The cost for the beef, candy and soap is $675.
