On August 24th there was a 6.8 earthquake in the center of Myanmar. We reached out to Pastor Cyrus and learned they were not affected by the earthquake in Yangon. On our Myanmar visit we also spent time with Reverend Chin Kang Mon and members of Yangon Mission Church. Through Pastor Chin we learned several of his church members homes were damaged or destroyed and others were in need of relief assistance due to flooding. Heavy and intense rain destroyed about 20 acres of rice fields which church members rely on for income.

Pastor Chin interprets as Bill preaches during our 2016 trip to Myanmar.
We were able to send funds which enabled Pastor Chin to build two small homes for two families and also provide rice to many of the earthquake victims.

Reverend Chin sent his thanks and request for prayer: “Please continue to pray for our brothers and sisters; they need divine restoration, physically, mentally and spiritually. We greatly appreciate and tremendously honored for your continued prayer and financial support. Be assured of many prayers for you and all your donors.”
It was a joy to worship with members of Yangon Mission Church while visiting Myanmar.
We are so thankful we were able to send this donation to help those in need in Myanmar. It is only because of supporters like you that we are able to continue to go in Christian Compassion and Love. Thank you!
