“The people walking in darkness have seen a great light, on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.” -- Isaiah 9:2
During this Christmas season, many churches will light candles that symbolize great Biblical themes of hope, joy, peace and love. Our family has had the privilege of celebrating Christmas in a variety of different places all around the world. One of the most memorable is Iceland. The Icelanders are lovely people and have a practice of lighting candles and placing them in their windows during the holidays. Because it is predominantly dark during the winter months, the candles seem to cast an incredibly brilliant light into the darkness. It is truly a beautiful and heartwarming sight to behold. This is exactly what happened with Christ coming. A great light was introduced into a very dark world, the light of Jesus that can never be extinguished.

We at Global Outreach Inc pray that we can continue to take God’s light into the dark places of the world but we know that we cannot do this without partners like you. Because of your support, this Christmas that glorious light is shining in many dark places and hearts where it was never seen before. From the depths of our hearts, thank you for all you’ve done to help make this world brighter and brighter.
