Just like children everywhere, the orphans in India look forward to Christmas with excitement and anticipation. Every year they prepare a special program to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. After the program and church services, they enjoy a special festive meal. Then just like children everywhere, they look forward to receiving a present, but unlike the children we know, the gift they are looking forward to is a new school uniform. Each year Global Outreach sends the money to purchase fabric so new school uniforms can be sewn for each orphan child. As the number of children continues to increase, so does the cost of providing the new uniforms. This year we need $1,160 to purchase the fabric.
