#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.


Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.

Since its inaugural year in 2012, #GivingTuesday has become a movement that celebrates and supports giving and philanthropy with events throughout the year and a growing catalog of resources.

FREQUENTLY ASKED DONATION QUESTIONS

Does Global Outreach Inc have a preferred method of payment?

  • We welcome any donation that you choose to make to help us continue doing the Lord's work around the world. But like all nonprofits or businesses that accept online payments there are overhead fees to pay for that convenience. 

    To avoid those fees for large donations we prefer checks or money orders so we can help maximize the impact of your donation. But we have made donations possible through Razoo.com, Paypal.com, and our website Donation Store which uses Paypal technology to process your secure donations.  We have chosen these multiple options because they are convenient and secure.

Can I set up an automatic recurring monthly donation?

  • Yes you can.  There are three main ways:

    • Paypal.com - An automatic donation can be set up directly through our Automatic Donation page using PayPal technology.  This option requires you to have or to create a PayPal account when you finalize the payment options.  

    • Razoo.com - You can also set up an automatic donation through Razoo.com. Download the instructions here.  

    • Bank Draft - Contact your bank and arrange for an automatic check to be sent to Global Outreach Inc, PO Box 618, Orange Beach AL 36561.

Is my donation tax deductible?

  • Yes it is. Global Outreach Inc is legally recognized as a U.S. nonprofit organization and your donation is tax deductible in the U.S.

    Acknowledgment letters and yearly statements are provided promptly.

 

Can I designate how my donation will be used?

  • Yes you can. If you would like to direct your donation toward a special project or fundraising effort you can let us know at the time of your donation. Our donation page has an online Donation Form where you can specify how your donation should be used.  We also have a Donation Store where you can specifically choose the project or ministry area that you would like to direct your donation toward.  

    If a donation is received without a special designation we will use it as best we can to sustain the work we have been called to do.

Can my non-profit, foundation, or other group make a donation?

  • Yes. Please Contact Us to talk about how your organization can partner with us and the best way to transfer a donation.
