Bosnia is a beautiful country that is still striving to recover from the effects of a war that stemmed from ethnic and religious hatred. Seventeen years later, there is a small group of evangelical Christians who desperately desire to see a different and brighter future for their country. They believe, even though a minority, that the hope for their nation in which ethnic and religious hatred is still being taught, is found only in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. As one Christian woman noted, "We want to leave something different than hatred and hostilities for our children and Jesus Christ is the way to bring that about."
There is a strongly committed group of devout Christians who believe that God has a future and a hope for their nation.
The work of spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ in this country is extremely difficult and there are those who strongly oppose evangelical Christianity. However, there is a strongly committed group of devout Christ followers who believe that God has a future and a hope for their nation. Global Outreach believes that we have a part to play in supporting and standing with them in fulfilling the great commission of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Funds designated for Bosnia go directly to support camping ministries, pastors and their families, care and feeding programs, evangelistic outreach ministries, small business loans, and other ministry needs.
